The Canadian Trucking Alliance has announced that Jean-Claude Fortin of J.E. Fortin will assume the role of vice chair of the Alliance while Greg Munden of Munden Ventures will take on the role of secretary-treasurer.
They replace Bison Transport’s Don Streuber and Kriska Transportation’s Mark Seymour, respectively, who served as vice chair and secretary-treasurer on an interim basis while CTA was reorganizing its executive structure.
“I sincerely want to thank Don and Mark for their dedication in their interim roles while CTA was reorganizing to become a stronger, more diverse Alliance. Their contributions proved to be invaluable during this time,” said CTA chair Scott Smith of JD Smith & Sons. “I would also like to welcome Jean-Claude and Greg to the executive group and look forward to working with them on a host of important issues affecting the industry.”
