The Safetys is a fall gala event where RPM, Trucking Industry Safety and seven other Manitoba safety organizations present awards to individuals and organizations for their achievements in Occupational Health and Safety.

The RPM Award was created to recognize a Manitoba trucking company that has achieved outstanding safety performance over the last year and consistently made significant improvements to their safety program and practices. All Manitoba trucking companies who are SAFE Work Certified through RPM Trucking Industry Safety are eligible to be nominated.

Congratulations to Kleysen Group Ltd. as their zero time loss incidents in 2017 and the organizations commitment to safety earned them the 2018 RPM Award.

Congratulations also go out to R.S. Harris Transport, who passed their external audit, the final step in Safe Work Certification. RPM has now successfully certified 18 Manitoba Trucking companies. In total, these 18 companies will receive $500,000 in rebates on their WCB premiums annually.
