Arnold Bros. celebrates 60 years

Much has changed since 1958 when founders Frank and Gerry Arnold saw an opportunity to expand the family farm with the transportation of grain. “It’s exciting to see Arnold Bros. reach the 60 year mark,” stated Gary Arnold, Executive Vice President. Incorporated in August 1958, this family business now employs five generations with the youngest employee being 21 years old and the oldest over 80.

Congratulations MTA scholarship winners

The Manitoba Trucking Association annually provides over $10,000 to hard-working young Manitobans. This money is given in the form of either scholarships or support for apprenticeship programs. We would like to congratulate the recipients of the 2018 MTA Scholarships, and we wish them well in their future endeavours!

CN buys TransX

Subject to regulatory review by the Competition Bureau and Transport Canada, CN Rail has purchased Winnipeg-based TransX in a mega-deal targeting intermodal transportation. TransX has 2,600 employees
across North America (600 are based in Winnipeg) and its assets include about 1,500 trucks and 1,000 intermodal containers. The company has annual revenues of approximately $500-million.
