National Trucking Week may have been a bit smaller, in terms of the number of events held this year

, but it was bigger than ever in spirit! Despite the fact that we cancelled the Truck Pull for United Way and scale visits, we were still able to host the VMC Golf Tournament and our Annual General Meeting (postponed from April). Also during National Trucking Week, scholarships were given to several deserving young Manitobans.

Our MTA-Inland Industry Excellence Award winners were announced during National Trucking Week as well (normally they are announced at the Manitoba Professional Truck Driving Championship, also unfortunately cancelled this year).

The Truck Convoy for Special Olympics was held virtually the week of September 12-19, with a small in-person convoy on September 19, 2020.
