SASKATCHEWAN TRUCKING ASSOCIATION
The Saskatchewan Trucking Association (STA) is proud to announce the launch of its latest initiative, Drive Her Future, a campaign designed to encourage more women to pursue careers in trucking while highlighting the benefits of hiring a diverse workforce.
The trucking industry thrives on diversity, and Drive Her Future aims to foster a more inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. This campaign will showcase a wide range of career paths available to women, including roles as drivers, dispatchers, dock workers, and beyond. The STA is committed to building a stronger, more inclusive trucking industry by breaking down barriers and opening doors to new opportunities.
The initiative highlights career opportunities for women, including roles as drivers, dispatchers, and dock workers, while providing employers with insights into the benefits of a diverse workforce. A key component is a video series, created with
Aero Delivery, featuring real stories from women in the industry.
The campaign also includes a dedicated landing page with resources for job seekers and employers.
“Trucking is an essential industry that offers rewarding careers for everyone,” said Susan Ewart, Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Trucking Association. “With Drive Her Future, we want to empower women to see themselves in this industry and help employers recognize the immense value that diversity brings to their workforce.”
The STA encourages industry members and the public to support the campaign by sharing materials and engaging on social media using #DriveHerFuture.
